Fly in the Freedom
Above Your Thoughts!
If you are curious to know what lies beyond positive thinking or you might have recurring
thoughts and feelings that won't dissolve, small gaps in your life that need resolution or you are finding fulfillment elusive, positive thinking alone cannot provide you with lasting answers.
It's our centre that has the power to move beyond any area of our life that
feels limited, stuck or painful. Here we live the best expression of
our Self and life takes on a greater quality of freedom because here we operate at
a level beyond thought - above hope and doubt and beyond fear and happiness.
Although we can never not be our Self, we are taught by well-meaning parents,
teachers, academics and institutions to be clever through our thinking. We lose the relationship with our center
and remain unconscious as to how our thoughts are the roots of our day to day dissatisfactions, emotional and
relationship suffering.
Consequently, we
bounce somewhere between positive and negative thought - Not realising that this will always bring restriction, 'closed-ness'
and 'stuck-ness' into our life. But of course this feels 'normal' because almost everyone else does this and we don't know
what to do instead!
Through 5 simple principles
we free our mind and create conscious contact with our authentic Self; enrich our relationships, our
emotional and psychological stability, creative energy, joy and 'success'.
Learning to live through Awareness
Being aware means whatever we are aware of, we are something other than. We
are aware of the wall, the chair, the computer, which means we are none of these objects either. Now extend this understanding a little deeper.
We are aware of our body and our mind, so does that mean we are just our body
and mind? No we are something other than these too because we are aware of them. So what about our thoughts, feelings and emotions – are we something
other than they are too? Yes we have to be, because
we can be aware of the thoughts, feelings and emotions that arise in our experience.
But we are not taught this in mainstream society and so we come to believe that our thoughts
are the truth and this is when we are tricked by our mind into reactions such as frustration, boredom, stress, unhappiness,
blame, conflict, hope, pride, shame and insecurity. For humans its a very
long, energy sapping list!
Every thought-led mind makes the mistake of believing it is aware but this is not Awareness!
